We are experiencing alarming leadership turnover rates at HBCUs. I recently read a Washington Post article that cited the average tenure of departing HBCU presidents was slightly over two years of service. While these high turnover rates are happening throughout higher ed, they pose a more significant threat to the health and sustainability of our institutions. HBCU sustainability remains one of my top priorities. That’s why I am writing to share that TMCF has relaunched TM2, TMCF’s executive search service aimed at helping HBCUs fill open positions quickly while also addressing leadership retention.

TM2 Executive Search is available immediately. We understand that executive leaders at HBCUs and PBIs must have the right blend of technical skills, charisma to champion strategic priorities, and the ability to work synergistically with all stakeholders. We will bring over 35 years of experience in Black Higher Ed and more than 15 years of executive search experience to deliver concierge-level service throughout the search process.
