Established in 2016, TM2 Executive Search provides retained search and leadership development services designed to help build and develop sustainable executive leadership and governing boards. Specifically, our searches focus on the following positions: Board of Trustees, Presidents and Chancellors, Provost, Deans, and the Executive level of institutions in the Black College Community.

According to reports, the HBCU environment regularly experiences socio-economic challenges related to enrollment, funding disparities, facilities, and career placement resources. In addition, many HBCUs face dwindling state support and dispropor­tionate funding from philanthropic organizations. These issues compound the challenges for leaders and have contributed to significant turnover of executive leadership in the HBCU environment. TM2 Executive Search was founded on the principle that every HBCU will have access to superior executive-level talent.

TM2 Executive Search was founded by former HBCU presidents and is currently under leadership of seasoned and experienced former HBCU execu­tive leaders with a deep understanding and commit­ment to the unique challenges and organizational structures of higher education and Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
