Philander Smith University, a distinguished Historically Black College in Little Rock, Arkansas, is launching a national search for a dynamic and mission-aligned leader to serve as Vice President for Institutional Advancement (VPIA). This senior-level position plays a critical role in shaping the University’s philanthropic vision, leading fundraising strategy, and deepening engagement with alumni, donors, and external partners.

Reporting directly to the President, the VPIA will guide all advancement functions, including major and planned giving, annual campaigns, grants, corporate and foundation relations, and stewardship.
