Texas Southern University seeks a dynamic, visionary leader to serve as the Interim Dean of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law (TMSL). Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer, responsible for advancing TMSL’s mission of providing access to legal education for underserved and disadvantaged communities. The Dean will drive initiatives to improve bar passage rates, expand fundraising efforts, and elevate the law school’s national profile, while fostering excellence in teaching, scholarship, service, and community engagement. With a focus on innovation and equity, the Dean will also support signature programs like the LLM in Immigration Law, TMSL’s clinical offerings, and the Earl Carl Institute for Legal and Social Policy.

This position is an on-site assignment based in Houston, Texas.
